Julius Reubke was a high romantic German composer with many similarities to Franz Liszt. The organ music is played upon the 5-manual Casavant organ at Broadway Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas. The piano works are performed by Casadesus Gold Medal winner John Owings on the Steinway. Both artists are faculty at Texas Christian University, Fort Worth.
