Organist Frederick Hohman is heard here in a program of serious, classical organ literature. This is the first recording of the Great Organ at Methuen made following the replacement of blower bearing. The result is a steadier tone in the upperwork and greatly reduced sub-sonic rumble. The result is the first truly high-fidelity, full spectrum audio recording of this landmark organ to be produced in many years.
