The Schola Cantorum is a resident ensemble at Christ Episcopal Church in Rochester, NY.  The church is located within a few blocks of the Eastman School of Music, and includes many talented singers from one of America's premier music schools.  The Schola sings the Office of Compline every Sunday night at Christ Church under the direction of Stephen Kennedy, their director.

Mendelssohn Rarities
Hailed as "the greatest child prodigy the history of Western music has ever known” (Charles Rosen), Mendelssohn wrote for the organ from the age of 11. New appraisals of his less-commonly performed organ and choral works reveal gems equal to his most beloved compositions.

Performed on the new Craighead-Saunders organ of the Eastman School of Music, with the Schola Cantorum of Christ Church.
