The choral ensemble Cantores in Ecclesia, led by Dean Applegate, has been a fixture of the music culture of Portland, Oregon for many years. The ensemble is an intrinsic part of the annual William Byrd Festival. British Organist Mark Williams joins the ensemble in this meditative mix of plainchant and organ music. Organ selections from the baroque and 20th centuries, which correspond with the sung plainchant themes, combine to make about an hour-long, spiritual music experience. The Bond organ at Holy Rosary Catholic Church is the featured organ.
