Dr Dobey provides a very listenable CD in this new release. Instead of giant masterworks with "heavy" themes, he exploits his sensitive interpretative style in over 2 dozen miniatures, some contemplative, some effervescent, and a couple that are downright "campy." Lightheartedness prevails.
