I was lucky enough to discover the DWS when I was in college working as an on-air announcer for the on-campus classical radio station. Their annual Echoes of Christmas broadcast transported me to a peaceful, mysterious Christmas place that I want to return to every year. All of their Christmas recordings are fantastic, but this one is the last and probably best. It's an absolute must-have!

This is an album that becomes part of your Christmas, it is so lovely. It gives fresh air to some of the long familiar and introduces new pieces that become essential to your season. Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day took old words and applied a new tune with fine techique and brings goosebumps to the message for me. Prepare the Way is another one that may burrow into your soul. And just because the Grammy holding baritone who sings one of the solos on The Friendly Beasts is my brother, does not automatically equate that I am biased.
