Overall the CD was fantastic. I really enjoyed it. The registration of the E-flat was a bit over done but still very good. Once again I really enjoyed this CD I recomend it

The Fritts Op. 25 is a magnificent instrument, gorgeously recorded. I really liked Cleveland's use of the reed stops, and generally, the recording shines. However, Cleveland's rendition of Bach's Concerto after Vivaldi (BWV 596) is insipid and uninspired compared to the standard set by Simon Preston (DG 100057). Also, in Bach's Prelude and Fugue in E-Flat (BWV 552) [surprised the "St. Anne" moniker isn't referenced], Cleveland falls to over-registration and the details are lost in a tidal of sound that is distracting.
