Hello Roger,
I just listened to your performance of Bach's g minor Fugue, BWV 542b, from your new recording at Saint Mark's. The fugue was breathtaking! So often it sounds like the player is working too hard (probably is) to get through the piece - or can't wait to get through the piece. Your rhythm was so toe tappin' natural, particularly on the subject. You sounded like you were dancing and really enjoying it! So, I just sat back, relaxed, and enjoyed it along with you.
The way the lowest note in the subject fit in. just natural, unobtrusive, but right, was a joy to hear!
